StarsCash: New AutoHotKey Program for Cash Games

It seems as if AutoHotKey (AHK) is growing in popularity by the day.  There are constantly new AHK scripts surfacing in the forums and, since AHK is a relatively easy language to learn, poker players themselves are diving in and developing scripts on their own.  Many script ideas stem from poker players who decide to give coding a shot.  One of the latest developments is a script that helps cash game players on PokerStars perform various tasks at the table.

StarsCash is a brand new AHK script that was written by a poker player and performs acts like moving the mouse to action buttons, automatically clicking “I’m Back,” automatically clicking the time bank, and buying you into games.  The script was released on January 3rd and has already received several updates.  Here is a list of the features and options included with StarsCash:

Active Table Highlighter: When a table requires action, it will be highlighted.

Mouse Move to Action Buttons: Your mouse will automatically jump to the action buttons when a table is active.

Auto “I’m Back” Clicker: If you time out, you can have the program auto-click the “I’m Back” button.

Auto Timebank Clicker: This option will click your time bank any time it is displayed.

Sit Out All/ Remove Sit Out All: You can sit in or out on all tables at once instead of manually clicking on every one.

Join Waiting List All/Un-Join Waiting List All: When registering for cash games, you have the option to automatically join or un-join waiting lists.

Auto Buy-In Maximum: When registering for cash games, the script will automatically buy you in for your preferred amounts.

Auto Check Post Blinds: If you choose, you can have the script handle the dialog boxes asking if you want to post blinds now or wait until the big blind on a new table.

Never Fold for Free: Any time you have the option of seeing the flop, turn, or river by checking, the script will perform the action for you.

Move New Unseated Table to Specified Position: When a table is available that you are not sitting at, you have the option of moving it out of your stack to a set location on your screen.  You can then move the table back into your stack by pressing a hotkey.

Setting up the program is really easy.  Here are the steps to do so:

1. Get a copy of StarsCash.
2. Copy and paste the script into a new .ahk file
3. Save and close the script
4. If you want to use the Bet Pot feature, you will need to download the PokerStars pictures.  Place this file in the same folder as your StarsCash script.
5. Double click the StarsCash.ahk icon and you are up and running

StarsCash is a very useful script for cash game players on PokerStars who multi-table.  Just by reading the features, it’s easy to see how this script can be very helpful at the tables.  StarsCash is being updated every couple of days, so the developer seems really committed to getting a quality product to the community with features that players want. It’s completely free, so give it a shot!
